About Me

Welcome. I am Leila. I grew up as a homeschooled kid in a cobblers workshop in the wild hills and hollers of rural West Virginia. My parents are artists and made their living on the craft show circuit. When I was not helping make shoes, I was off roaming the mountains, barefoot and often bareback on my horse, in search of the magical realms. The craftshow lifestyle provided me with early encounters of travel, artist community and the convergence of many cultures. I was raised in the medicine and wisdom teachings of Turtle Island and I began formal training in shamanic practices 24 years ago. Since then, I have studied and practiced different modalities including: Astrology, Runes, Ceremonial facilitation, herbalism, martial arts, bodywork, and the crafting of medicine tools. I am an astrologer, an artist, a story weaver, a musician, a runester, and a worlds-walker. I am a mother, a gardener, a sheild-jumper, a trickster, and a witch. I am seasoned by my life experiences, which are smokey, spicy and sweet. I live my life as a prayer to the faries, elves and wee folk, to the celestial beings, and the earth mother. I walk each day in conversation with the Land Wights, the Ancestors, and the Gods, listening for how I might serve.

This space is an offering and a portal, part playground, part prayer. It is a Web of connection. It is filled with stories, tools, and breadcrumbs for the curious. Keep an eye out for hidden passageways, and tunnels... you never know where it may take you! Blessed play to you, traveler...
